CHBC Legislature Bill Watchlist
HB 1110/SB 5190 – Increasing Middle-Income Housing
Would lift bans on the development of ‘modest home choices’ in transit-oriented, amenity-rich neighborhoods. Allows for more housing options with a focus on anti-displacement efforts – this bill was SO close last year, and ultimately didn’t pass. Much is needed to address the housing shortage and increase affordable options at all income levels.
